BUSINESS OFFICIALS COMMITTEE

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES - 2000-2001

 

 

  1. GOVERNANCE
  1. Establish statewide committee of ROC/P Business Officials, which holds a voting membership on the CAROC/P Board of Directors.
  2. Provide leadership to CAROC/P through the sharing of relevant and timely information regarding the business aspects of issues affecting the organization.
  3. Take an active role in CAROC/P committee work as it relates to the role of the CAROC/P Business Official, and encourage Business Officials to participate in committee meetings in order to lend their unique perspective to the discussion of issues.
  1. COMMUNICATION
  1. Increase participation of Business Officials statewide through the use of alternative communication methods.
  1. MODEL PRACTICES
  1. Identify, evaluate and recognize model practices in Business Services and other related areas. Encourage Business Officials to participate in the process of self-examination and to submit best practices for evaluation and recognition.
  2. Share information regarding model practices with all Business Officials.
  1. MEETINGS

a) ROC/P Business Officials will meet at least quarterly within their regions and at least three times a year as a statewide committee. Meetings will include an agenda that supports the sharing of information, networking opportunities, sharing of effective practices, and input on CAROC/P business.
